Saddlerock Ranch Armenian Wedding, Malibu

I met Ani during our other friends’ wedding in Italy and I quickly realized how cool of a person she is. She is also one of the brains behind the LOV project (Live One Vision Project) that basically created a brand with a meaning. She travels to India, where she partnered up with a vocational center that educates and rehabilitates young adults that has physical disabilities. The artisans hand crafts scarves and dies them naturally, which she brings back to the US to sell and the proceeds go back to them in the form of housing, medical care, among other things.

Ani and David met awhile back during a basketball tournament that David was playing in, and although both had immediate attraction toward each other, they did not pursue the relationship until they met again in one of Ani’s fundraising events. When asked about their relationship now, Ani says: “Our relationship has been effortless and feels so right”. Sounds perfect :)

The location for the wedding reception is simply gorgeous. Tucked in between the hills of Malibu, Saddlerock Ranch became the backdrop of this amazing event. Just like in many middle-eastern weddings, this wedding is filled with people eager to have fun and dance all night long. Ani with her background in fashion, had her personal touches in the designs all over.

Most weddings take years of planning yet the day can fly by and feel like it’s over in a heartbeat. That’s why it’s so important to capture those moments and not just the moments you expected, but the ones that appeared by magic.
