Day After Session: Salila + Edgar 02/14/2011 | In Portraits, by Erwin

Erwin Apertura Day After Palm Springs Windfarms Portrait Salila Edgar 0003 Day After Session: Salila + Edgar
Sometimes weddings get so hectic that you didn’t get the portrait shots that you wanted that day. No worries. We have the solution!
I shot Salila + Edgar’s Day-After Session a few weeks after their wedding and it was perfect timing. We are so very relaxed, had lots of fun, and the location that they picked, sooo cool! We started back at the Parker Palm Springs, where they had their wedding, and then on to the wind farms.
Here are some of my favorites:

Samar + Ali: Day-After Session, Florence, Italy 11/23/2010 | In Portraits, by Apertura

The next afternoon we all went to shoot the day-after session of Samar + Ali in the magnificent city of Firenze/Florence. Despite Ali’s swollen foot, he’s a trooper for walking around on uneven cobblestones all day and we took a short tour savoring the beautiful city. Starting our day in a coffee shop, we realized that the coffee in Italy just tasted so much better than their American counterparts. The Italians take their coffee seriously! Then we walked through Piazza della Signoria, Basilica di Santa Maria del Fiore (the Duomo), Uffizi, Ponte Vecchio, and explored the small streets and back alleys before ending the night at Piazzale Michelangelo.

It was a truly memorable experience and we can’t wait to go back to Italy!

Girish: Funny shots  ( 03/28/2010 - 10:56 ) Kat: It\'s nice to see your talent being used on the family. Your girls are DARLING! I can\'t wait for you to take pictures of Scarlett. I wouldn\'t have placed you as one of \"those\" parents who subject their kids to piano competitions and such :) I STILL have issues of being subjected to that as a child!  ( 03/28/2010 - 12:33 ) tak: pretty in red :)  ( 03/28/2010 - 14:15 ) kate mefford: DARLING!!! So precious. Good to learn more about you and your fam, Ray! Hope all is well with ya. Hugs!  ( 03/28/2010 - 17:35 ) ari: AWESOME. I can\'t figure out how you have time to be so good at guitar hero, be such an amazing photog and be a dad at the same time. You\'re awesome dude.   ( 03/29/2010 - 04:18 ) maurice: Aww... So cute. Liking the tree for balance too. I\'m really glad you made it back in time too.  ( 03/29/2010 - 23:32 ) steven young: Ray you should post more family stuff, love it!  ( 04/01/2010 - 06:33 )
