After an epic NYC e-session, I was really looking forward to shooting Pani & Ronnie’s wedding at the Ritz-Carlton Laguna Niguel ! Pani looked stunning in her Pnina Tornai/Louboutins combo and Ronnie was truly in his elements with his groomsmen. Surrounded by 430 of their friends and family, they had a beautiful ceremony by the Sofreh Aghd facing the ocean. Customary to Persian weddings, the reception was full of energy and I couldn’t help dancing along while capturing it all! The legendary Shideh Shahraies made sure that all the festivities went on smoothly and beautifully. Special thanks to my friend Marissa Feliciano for second shooting this wedding.

Jessica + Isaac are such a fun and cute couple.  They got married at the Hyatt Huntington Beach, CA and they gave us tons of time for portraits which explains the many portraits in this post :)  Thank you for Brandon Wong for second shooting for me.

Here’s a start:  We saw the Geico Cavemen during our scouting of the location so here’s a small treat for the caveman fans out there :)

Jen + Al are two really great people, which I met earlier in the year as I did their engagement photos in San Francisco.  They are very much into music and it shows throughout their wedding.  I love people that are expressive and kind! :)

This wedding was shot at the Crown Plaza Cabana, Palo Alto and the ceremony is at the really awesome First United Methodist Church in downtown Palo Alto.  Thanks for Ari Simphoukam for second shooting with me.

In some chinese traditions, the groom and his entourage needs to get through the bridesmaids to get to the bride.  This is one of the tests that the bridesmaids told them to do: a five-man push up!

Tina and Albert was actually already married when I met them the first time, and they decided to actually have a party in their hometown of Palo Alto to celebrate with their closest family and friends.

Since Albert loves cars, his neighbor actually rented a corvette for him to use on his wedding day.  Talk about a nice person.

Patty wanted to book me before she even got engaged. Now that’s hardcore. :-) Now that I’ve shot Patty + Steve’s wedding, I can say that I am incredibly blessed to witness their day through my lens. I love everything about their wedding from the super-emotional and heartfelt rooftop ceremony, the thoughtful details like photographs of each friends/family as their placecards, and to the synchronized Michael Jackson tribute dance performed by everyone in the wedding party including their parents! It’s unique, special, and very them. Special thanks to my buddy Maurice Ramirez for second shooting this wedding.
