Kelli + Dave 01/12/2010 | In Weddings, by Erwin

Kelli Dave 0182 Kelli + Dave

There are some weddings that I can recall everything so crystal clear.  Mostly because of the type of people, their relationship with me and the miscellaneous personal touches that they have in their weddings.  This one is definitely one of those weddings.  Great people, great families, friends, and lots of personalized things ranging from the peepee-face (I have the pictures but would not disclose the person :P), to a surprise Jai-Ho dance (from The Slumdog Millionaire).  Kelli + Dave used to work in the film industry so this really means a lot to them.

The wedding became complete when the Oregon Ducks won the game that night (they are all HUGE ducks fans)

My friend, Ed Atrero shot with me on this one.

Venue: The Calamigos Ranch, Malibu

I was going to write my top three, but there are all fantastic.  ( 01/12/2010 - 15:53 ) Carolyn Goss: I\'ve been totally blown away by the incredible pictures you took at Kelli and Dave\'s wedding. The composition and angles of the images you captured tell a story in a most striking way. Keep up your extraordinary work, Erwin and Ed.  ( 01/12/2010 - 14:51 ) Darius Wadia: These pictures are beautiful and capture the spirit of the wedding so well. These are clearly moments that Dave and Kelli will want to remember forever. Great work! I will totally call you when I get married!  ( 01/12/2010 - 12:15 ) Adam Cole: I was there and I didn\'t think it could be made to look anymore beautiful, but these images captured all that and more. Magical moments captured by professional people. And yes, you have my authorization to release my peepee-face.  ( 01/12/2010 - 11:12 ) Dave Johnson: Love the over-the-shoulder with the Jai Ho dancers in the background. And the bride entrance photo. And the father-daughter dance. Reading that letter from my brother before the ceremony is something I\'ll never forget. That photo means a great deal to me.  ( 01/12/2010 - 10:50 ) Tim Goss: Hi Erwin: The candid photographs are such great story tellers and you did an amazing job. If these are typical of the rest, WOW, can\'t wait to see them. Tim  ( 01/12/2010 - 10:48 ) Kelli Johnson: Love love love the pics, Erwin! What amazing work you and Ed A. do. You captured some amazing moments that we\'ll now have forever.   ( 01/12/2010 - 10:45 ) Jeremy: Great subjects, unforgettable photographs. Any chance you can go back in time and re-shoot our wedding?! My wife and I couldn\\\'t stop talking about how great you both were.   ( 01/12/2010 - 10:43 ) Michael Flavin: These pictures are amazing! These prove candids show off the day\'s emotion so much better. Also, Dave does look fabulous in that tux, can we make him wear it around the house?  ( 01/12/2010 - 10:29 ) George Rivera: What an amazing, and challenging series. Were you allowed to use lighting during the ceremony or is that all ambient light? Great work.  ( 01/12/2010 - 10:15 ) Dave Johnson: Ahh the memories... We laughed, we cried (I cried), we danced. Such a fantastic time, captured by such fantastic photographers. Erwin, you\'re second to none. Ed A, that goes for you too. Thank you for the beautiful images of my beautiful wife!!  ( 01/12/2010 - 10:09 )
