Kapolei, Hawai’i – Words could not describe how amazing Miki & Joel are. After spending 3 days in paradise with them, I can say that with certain authority. We stayed in the North Shore and they embrace me and my friend/2nd shooter Vanessa like family. Joel is the animation producer of the Simpsons so I know we’d get along really well before even meeting him. :-) The night before the wedding, guests enjoyed some local delicacies like Kalua pork, Lau Lau, and guava pies at the get-together luau by the beach. The actual wedding and reception took place at the Lanikuhonua, where they had the heartfelt, emotional ceremony by the crashing waves. Everything went perfectly from the modern beach-themed decor down to the last warm Malasada at the end of the night because of the coordination of Sandra Williams from Finishing Touch. San Miguel de Allende: I had the privilege of shooting with the super-talented, super-cool Huy & Kym from F8 Studio in Mexico. While some images of the wedding will follow at a later date, here are some of the images that I managed to take during the last day of the 3-day off the hook party…. One of the cool things about this place is the originality of each of the door knobs and knockers.

You definitely want to check this one out. Amazing couple, lovely wedding, and one hell of a party!

Calabasas, CA – We had a super fun day photographing this couple – they are so easy going and in love. The wedding was done in their uncle’s private residence and despite the light sprinkles of rain off and on, the party was a blast and did not stop. Of course, if you are in a Persian wedding, and the party stopped, then it’s not a Persian wedding :) Favorite of the day: Baharak hiding in the limo from arriving guests.
