For all the overwhelming response to our Blogstalkers Unite! Engagement session contest. We honestly didn’t realize what we’re getting into when we did this and the ginormous response have been super! There were so many heartfelt stories and beautiful life experiences have knocked on our email doors throughout the past few weeks. It is going to be tough to decide, but we’ll get the results out soon! If we could, we would do all of your engagement sessions, but we have to pick only one winner. Stay tuned! :)

It’s almost cliche, but it’s sooooo true. We *heart* our clients and our clients *heart* us! Check out what the postman delivered today. Kelly + Andrew (of WeddingBee fame) put together TWO very special care packages for each of us. Ray got, among many things, a handmade Thank You card, yummy cookies, a special popcorn they got in Hawaii from their honeymoon, a cute black ninja doll (signifying our stealth and ninja-like shooting style), and get this, a cool Guitar Hero T-shirt (Ray’s such a nerd)!! While Erwin also got some similar things such as the ninja doll, cookies and coffee and stuff, he also got some wind up sushi (Erwin loves his sushi!) as well as a gamers’ t-shirt due to his previous contemplation of which game console to get. Thank you, Kelly + Andrew, for the most thoughtful gift we could ever receive. You rock. Seriously.

We met Sara + Mani last Sunday and we were a bit concerned that the super-secret location that we picked may be too difficult to access, but the two were just too much of a trooper and they didn’t let it get in our way. We climbed and climbed and it was totally worth it. It’s always a pleasure to take pictures for such a great couple that are really into each other and endured long distance relationships. The water was really, really cold (ask Erwin) but their warmth really is infectious! Sara + Mani, we had such a blast photographing you two and we can’t wait till May for your wedding!

In the south, it’s tradition to have a bridal session prior to the wedding. It is not very common in So Cal but we’re very excited to have the opportunity to hang out with Kim & Son on Saturday, wedding dress, tux and all! It was awesome to witness their amazing connection. Can’t wait til your wedding in May!

I think it’s really neat to have this type of photographs done to signify the bond and relationship that spans 3 generations. You ladies rock!
