Near where I live, there’s a street with houses all-decked out with lights and ultra-festive lawn decorations every Christmas. The real street name is not important but it is appropriately called “Gingerbread Lane.” So many people want to experience it and created traffic jam almost daily. My wife and I took our girls there again this year just to enjoy the atmosphere and a little exercise (sure, that’s my excuse). This time, I brought the 5D Mk II to shoot a little video of my girls. I always wanted to try this new feature in our new camera and I finally did it. Disclaimer: I am not Francis Ford Coppola and have no idea on how to shoot video. Long Beach, CA – Melissa + Timmie are really one of the kindest people we’ve had the pleasure to come across. Their wedding was low-stress, chilled and wild at the same time. They got ready with their fun-loving bridal party at the Renaissance Long Beach hotel before jumping into a tricked-out limo to take them to St.Margaret Mary church. After a solemn Catholic ceremony, we headed out to the Ebell Club of Long Beach where the partying happened. We met so many cool people in this wedding, we felt like shooting a very close friend’s wedding. Congratulations again, Melissa + Timmie! San Miguel de Allende, Mx: I had the pleasure of shooting for 2 of the 3 F8 Studio master Photojournalists, Huy Nguyen & Kym Skiles. This had been in the works for awhile and finally made its debut in our blog :) This was an amazing 3-day wedding with little or no sleep, three different ceremonies (Civil, Aztec, and Jewish), but ultimately, one weekend full of party!
